Job Title : Web Design Project Manager
Status : Part Time 15-30 hours a week (with potential to develop into full-time position)

Rate of Pay : Base salary $15-20 /hour DOE and 10% bonus (based on performance)

Benefits are not offered to part-time positions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop new web sites and support and maintain existing web sites using Adobe CS 3

• Web project management duties such as creating schedules, controlling scope and costs, and tracking and communicating project status.

• Research and develop professional quality copy or content.

• Write and create cost estimates for web sites and prepare proposals

• Provide sales and marketing support to bring in new clients

• Provide office and admin support and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Required Skills, Education and Experience

• The highest level of integrity and ability to work as part of a team and independently

• Minimum of three or more years' experience required. Ideal candidate can demonstrate experience designing all aspects of 15-30 websites in the past demonstrating a wide variety of website models.

• Ability to design following the industry's latest professional web design standards - focus on aesthetics as much as user-interface, information architecture, and usability.

• Ability to hand-code HTML and ability to design and code with CSS.

• Ability to handle minimum 4-6 projects monthly and meet deadlines.

• Ability to design with an understanding of the business and sense of commercial and competitive considerations.

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients.

• Ability to work under pressure, allocate time efficiently, take direction, and give feedback in a constructive manner.

• Aptitude for building relationships and providing excellent customer service. Able to use tact and patience when dealing with customers.

• Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills are essentia

Other skills considered a plus:

· Intermediate skills both designing and developing in Flash or Swish with ActionScripting.

· Basic understanding of Search Engine design requirements for effective indexing.
